Low cost VS “Premier”

Do we call it Premier? When someone travels a *normal* standard airline? I believe the separation line between the two is fast disappearing. (Admittedly this may be due to my affinity to Kulula after my recent travels with them) The fact remains though is the line dividing standard airlines and low cost carries is becoming increasingly fainter. The main reason for this new proclamation is in line with BA’s announcement that they will be charging if you request to be pre seated? All this in an interesting market where you are requested by other airlines to pre seat your passengers or they face being off loaded (Delta). Ok so now the major difference between flying a low cost carrier and a standard carrier is the free lunch. In the years or sooner – months to come we will see this line disappearing forever, in the US we have already seen “standard” airlines charging for checked baggage. So in the near future the term low cost carrier will become a thing of the past and we will see all the airlines lumped together and given the same term: Lets charge for everything there is no longer a free lunch (Pun intended)
