REBRANDING OF AIG TRAVEL AND AIG TRAVEL ASSIST TO TRAVEL GUARD As you are aware, AIG has rebranded its General Insurance operations globally to Chartis. In effect AIG South Africa Limited and AIG Life South Africa Limited are now Chartis South Africa Limited and Chartis Life South Africa Limited respectively. In addition to this and with effect from Monday, the 23rd of November 2009 we will market our travel insurance products under the brand, Travel Guard. Travel Guard markets travel insurance, assistance and travel related services to individual travelers and corporate clients globally. Travel Guard products are underwritten and endorsed by the worldwide property-casualty and general insurance operations of Chartis Inc.
