Some highlights for me as a parent looking for excellent value for money is the wide range of places and budgets they have in the brochure. Having 2 small kids I am finding that self catering is really the way to go. Have a look at the brochure and you can find specials from R4949 (excluding airline levy – aka taxes aprox R1690) per person sharing. A quick calculation this is based on 6 passengers sharing – R39 834 for 6 people including flights for 10 nights. That is aprox R4000 a night for 6 people – great value for money. Do take into consideration the cost of food and supplies while there as you certainly cannot take your trailer.
Granted that this is not the equivalent of a 5 star get away or even remotely close for that matter, it is however an exotic destination, beach holiday that is geared to the family on a budget. With the ever popular recession woes this could be a juicy alternative for those who want to do Mauritius.
