New Visa requirements for South African nationals visiting the UK
With effect from Tuesday 03 March, South African passport holders will require a visa in order to visit or transit the United Kingdom. However, until mid-2009, South African nationals who have previously travelled to the UK on their current passport will be exempt from the visa requirement. This decision follows a global review of the UK’s pre-entry immigration controls and reflects the UK government’s commitment to strengthen its borders.

If you are going over to work you need a work permit, in order to get a work permit you need work. This is a catch 22 situation. The working holiday visa is a thing of the past.
I have lived in the UK on an ancestral visa for 4 yrs and then for another 6 months on my normal passport. Im now living in Turkey but I want to visit family ?n England for a few days at the end of the month. Can I still travel on my passport or do I need to apply for a visa.

Email copies of? Your passport? No – your application forms – generally they need original documents? why is this a problem? Has the UK not send these forms to you?
